Reservable Rooms
Sound Studios
The Sound Studio in Bizzell provides the OU community with the technology to make audio and video recordings.
The Sound Studio gives faculty, staff, and graduate students a quite space to record content such as lecture slides, images, videos, or live demonstrations.
Individual Rooms
Single-occupancy rooms with a desk and desk chair. Only reservable by graduate students.

Meeting Rooms
Reservable rooms that feature two comfortable chairs and a table. OU graduate students, faculty, and staff can reserve these rooms to meet with anyone.
These spaces within the Consultations @ OU Libraries room feature a table, display, and seating for small collaborative meetings.
Rooms that feature large tables for group study. Groups with confirmed reservations take priority; otherwise, rooms are free to use.
Reservable by faculty and graduate students. These rooms feature tables and chairs for 4-5 people.
The Faculty Meeting Room is available to larger groups of faculty. The room includes multiple whiteboards, a large display, and teleconferencing equipment.

This study room in the Fine Arts Library features seating for a small group.
Study rooms in the National Weather Center with tables and chairs for medium to large groups.

Events and Instruction Spaces
We have a variety of spaces that can be used to host OU events. To request the use of an event or instruction space, submit our Event Request Form.
Bizzell 339
Event room with presentation and teleconferencing equipment that can accommodate up to 60 people
Event room with presentation and teleconferencing equipment that can accommodate up to 80 people. This room features our 138” LED wall display screen.
Conference room with teleconferencing equipment that can accommodate up to 15 people.
Instruction classroom for up to 48 people that features multiple round tables and display screens with a central presentation podium. Optional use of the laptop cart.
Walk-In Spaces
The areas listed here do not require reservations. To locate spaces in Bizzell, visit the Bizzell Floor Maps page.
The Boorstin Collection room is used for quiet study and reading books from the collection. It is located on the main floor of Bizzell.
Canyon Garden
The Oklahoma Canyon Garden is available to the public and can be accessed through Lower Level 2 of Bizzell.
Computer Labs
Bizzell and branch libraries host computer workstations available to the OU community
The Great Reading Room is an open space dedicated to silent study

In the Learning Lab, OU students have access to collaborative and individual study spaces
Located in the Fine Arts Library, the Media Resource Center is a working library of recorded (time-based) materials: CDs, videos, digital audio tapes (DATs) and regular cassette tapes, digital video discs (DVDs) and long-playing records (LPs).
Nursing Room
This room features a pumping workstation, comfortable chair, and basic amenities for nursing. Card swipe access is required.
Reflection Room
Quiet space for reflection, meditation, and prayer. Located in Bizzell room 214.
Bizzell Lower Level 2 features the Zarrow Family Faculty & Graduate Student Center and Scholars Lounge. Card swipe access is required.
