Morgan Briles

Morgan Briles joined OU Libraries in 2022 as the Open Educational Resources librarian within the Open Initiatives & Scholarly Communication department. She oversees the library's Alternative Textbook Grant and assists faculty in making the transition from commercial to free learning materials. Before coming to OU, Morgan was the Digital Repository Librarian at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas, and has also worked for the press Digital Commons and Gwinnett County Public Library. Morgan has a BA in History and Religious Studies from Agnes Scott College and a Master of Library and Information Science from Syracuse University. She works hard so her cat can have a better life.
