The iconic Peggy V. Helmerich Great Reading Room is located in the original 1929 addition of Bizzell Memorial Library. The Great Reading Room is one of the most popular quiet study spaces on the Norman campus. The walls are lined with beautifully carved bookcases that hold theses and dissertations of OU graduates.
