Amanda Schilling joined OU Libraries in 2018 as a Science Librarian. She serves as liaison to the departments of Mathematics, Meteorology, and Physics & Astronomy and can assist those who need help in the math and science subject areas as well as data analysis and visualization. As manager of the National Weather Center (NWC) Library, Amanda is also liaison to the NOAA research, operations, and forecasting groups at the NWC. Amanda earned her Ph.D. in physics from the University of Arkansas in 2017 where her research focused on active galactic nuclei and spiral galaxies that host active galactic nuclei.
